KOTA RAPE VICTIM DIES AFTER SELF-IMMOLATION

Kota: In a tragic incident, a rape victim who immolated herself died during treatment at MBS hospital in Kota. The girl was raped by a neighbour, who took her to his shop and committed the crime. On hearing the girl screaming, her father and brother rushed to the spot. Later, the victim attempted suicide by pouring diesel on herself. She was admitted to the hospital with burns but succumbed to her injuries.

The youth has been accused of kidnapping and raping the girl by her family. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
