JK Lone hosp’s superintendent held in Kota for asking Rs 1.70L

Kota: In a major trap, the ACB held superintendent of Kota’s JK Lone hospital Dr Heera Lal Meena for taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 on Friday. DG ACB BL Soni said that Dr Meena had demanded a bribe of Rs 1.70 lakh from a contractor for clearing bills of Rs 30 lakh for works done by his firm. A team led by Additional SP- ACB Kota Vijay Swarnkar and Ajeet Bagda’s caught the doctor red handed while taking the bribe.

In another action, the ACB caught a cooperative inspector Jaya Shekhawat while taking a bribe of Rs 15,000 in Jaipur. She had demanded the bribe from the complainant to give him extra time to repay the loan.Both have been booked under the prevention of corruption act.
