Coffins on Wheels? Outdated vehicles a risk to public

Jaipur: As the city waits for e-buses and more low floor city buses, many knackered mini buses are plying in the city ferrying passengers who are under compulsion to use these buses in absence of better quality of buses.

While the transport department has ordered for HSRP on private vehicles, it appears that not much attention is paid to the condition of these broken buses running on road freely which cause great inconvenience to the passengers. It is often observed that these buses carry passengers more than their capacity and drive in a hazardous manner. The e-buses will ply when they arrive but action must be taken against these buses.
