CEO Gupta takes stock of final preps

Sawai Madhopur: Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta on Thursday inspected integrated control room, webcasting and voting and other sweep activities are being run in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur for ensuring participation of all voters and increasing voter turnout during LS elections.

Addressing sweep officials in the sweep cell of Sawai Madhopur Zila Parishad, the CEO said that participation of all voters is important in strengthening democracy. He appealed to all voters to go to cast vote during the Happy Hours on April 26 and avail the benefits of attractive offers and discounts by various business establishments in urban area after showing ink mark after voting.

He said that there will be facilities of cold water, shade, wheelchairs for the disabled and the elderly at the polling stations. The CEO asked the officers to further encourage voters to exercise their franchise.
