7 killed, several hurt as truck hits tractor in Pali

Pali: In a tragic incident, seven pilgrims were killed and several injured when a tractor trolley in which they were going to Ramdevra from Gujarat collided with a truck in Pali district. Nearly 25 pilgrims— men and women and children— were on their way to Ramdevra in Jaisalmer from Ambaji in Gujarat when the accident occurred near Paldi Jod. The victims were admitted to hospitals in Shivganj and Sumerpur. Sumerpur MLA Joraram Kumawat, SDM and Dy SP reached the spot. Condoling the death of pilgrims, PM Narendra Modi tweeted “In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. I pray for a speedy recovery of those injured.”
