5 IAS shifted in UP, Banda gets new DM

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred over a dozen PCS officers including 5 IAS officers.
IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal, Special Secretary of Medical Education, is among the other officers who have been transferred. Nagpal has been made the new District Magistrate of Banda, in place of Deepa Ranjan, who has gone on maternity leave.

Along with this, IAS officer Divya Prakash Giri, Special Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, has been made Staff Officer, Chief Secretary.

Former Bareilly Commissioner, Samyukta Samaddar, who was in waiting, has been made the new Commissioner of NCR. She has also been on this post earlier.
