3-year-old trapped in borewell for over 30 hrs; rescue ops on
Kotputli: In Kotputli, 3-year-old Chetna has been stuck in a 700-foot deep borewell for over 30 hours. Despite four attempts by NDRF, only 30 feet have been covered. The Lband device failed, and no movement is visible in the camera footage.
A piling machine is being brought from Faridabad to dig a parallel pit for continued efforts.
Chetna’s grandfather accused the administration of negligence.
She fell into the borewell at 1:50 PM on Monday, trapped at 150 feet, and the rescue team has managed to lift her 120 feet using the L-band in their fourth attempt.
