17 MORE IAS OFFICERS TRANSFERRED IN UP

Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government has once again undertaken a major administrative reshuffle after the recent transfer of 14 IAS officers including 10 District Magistrates. Now, 17 more IAS officers including 6 CDOs have been transferred in the state. In the suffle, new ViceChairmen have been posted in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Aligarh and Bulandshahr-Khurja Development Authorities, while new Municipal Commissioners have been appointed in Ghaziabad and Aligarh Municipal Corporations. Moreover, new Chief Development Officers (CDOs) have been appointed in six districts. As per the transfer list, Municipal Commissioner Ghaziabad - Mahendra Singh Tanwar - has been made the ViceChairman of Gorakhpur Development Authority. In his place, CDO Mathura - Nitin Gaur - will be the Municipal Commissioner of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation. Rampur’s Joint Magistrate - Manish Meena - will be CDO Mathura while CDO Varanasi - Abhishek Goyal - has been made the ViceChairman of Varanasi Development Authority. Meerut’s Joint Magistrate - Suraj Patel - will now be CDO Fatehpur while CDO Chitrakoot - Amit Asri - has been made Municipal Commissioner of Aligarh Municipal Corporation. Meanwhile, Jalaun’s Joint Magistrate - Ankur Kaushik - will now take over the responsibility of CDO Chitrakoot.

Dr Ankur Lather, who was CDO Amethi, has been entrusted with the responsibility of ViceChairman Bulandshahar-Khurja Development Authority, while Divya Prakash Giri, who was posted as Additional Commissioner (Excise) in Prayagraj, has been sent to the post of Special Secretary, Fertilizers and Logistics. Moreover, CDO Fatehpur - Satya Prakash - has been sent to Prayagraj as Additional Commissioner (Excise). Additionally, Basti’s Joint Magistrate - Amritpal Kaur - will serve as CDO Sultanpur, Jhansi Joint Magistrate - Sanya Chhabra - as CDO Amethi, UP Election Commissioner Krishan Kumar Gupta as Special Secy Secondary Education, Sanjeev Singh who has been put on APO as has been transferred to the post of Special Secy Finance. Meanwhile, cancelling the posting order of Ravindra Pal Singh, who was transferred from Special Secy, Home to Special Secy, Secondary Education, the government has now posted him as Special Secy, Language and Director Hindi Sansthan.
