Shivin Narang Relives Diwali Moments

For actor Shivin Narang, the days after a Diwali are always full of reliving memories of the festival and planning things for the year ahead. The actor has taken some time off for family this year. 

“After Diwali, this time, I have taken a break till the 26th. From the 27th I'll start shooting again. After Diwali, there is a lull and we relive those moments and keep talking about it, keep seeing those pictures. We get excited by thinking of what we will do next year on Diwali. It gives you a great feeling and I always wish that we celebrate love, happiness and spread love. This is what Diwali is for me and my family,” he says.

The actor says that he loves Diwali time. “Whenever Diwali is around the corner, no matter what you are doing, whether you are at home or working, festivities are always on your mind. The best part about diwali is that we get lots of gifts, sweets, friends come over and you meet people after a long time at Diwali parties. I always love to celebrate Diwali,” he says. 

Talking about his childhood memories, Shivin adds, “Since childhood it's been very special for me. From burning crackers to decorating homes to distributing gifts, doing something for society and helping the needy, going to temples and doing other duties. The entire month is special to me, it just connects you to your roots.”

Of course, Bhaidooj is also special to him. “After bhaidooj, there is teeka which we celebrate. I usually go to Delhi to meet my buaa aud cousins. Sometimes they come to Mumbai to celebrate. If I'm working this is not possible because of commitments but I make sure that I celebrate this time with my family,” he says.
