Sandeep Rajora: Will observe a quieter and peaceful Diwali hoping that it symbolizes a step towards a world where sound of peace prevails over the noise of war
Diwali is almost here. Most of our last minute shopping of new clothes, house decors etc are going on in full swing. Actors are no different. Sandeep Rajora aka Rahat Akhtar of Rabb Se Hai Dua, talks about Diwali.
“My plans for Diwali revolve around celebrating this beautiful festival of lights with my beloved family and friends. It's a time when we come together to embrace the warmth and glow of Diwali, light lamps, and perform Laxmi pooja to invite prosperity and good fortune into our lives. It's also a special occasion to welcome the new season, marked by a sense of renewal and hope,” he says.
Sandeep believes in celebrating eco-friendly Diwali. After all, it is all about making merry without doing anything hazardous.
“I want to completely avoid the loud crackers since there is a war going on. As a mark of respect for the innocent civilians killed in the world I want to completely avoid the loud bombs. What is fun for many here can be a devastating and soul shuddering sound for many in the war zone! So, this Diwali, I aim to observe a quieter, more peaceful celebration, with the hope that it symbolizes a step towards a world where conflicts are resolved, and the sound of peace prevails over the noise of war,” he ends.
