1.Tell us about the upcoming Ganesh sequence in ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’?
A. Ganesha is worshipped all over the world, especially in India where the majority of people revere him. We find him to be the loveliest god. His arrival in the show will be a significant event, leading to a long and important storyline.

2. Did you do any preparations for the upcoming sequence playing a father?
A. Yes, I have played the role of a father on the show before, being the father to Kartikeya, so there's no special preparation needed. For the character, it's like welcoming another child into the family.

3.How has it been shooting with Riyansh Dabhi? Please tell us about the bond you share with him off-screen.
A. Riyansh Dabhi is such a sweet boy. On his first day of shooting, he seemed a bit worried about how things would unfold. However, he quickly proved to be both talented and delightful to work with. As a fellow actor, it was truly enjoyable collaborating with him. He not only understands the nuances of the craft but also listens attentively and effortlessly knows his marks and camera angles. With prior experience under his belt, he was already quite impressive.

4.How do you view the role of Lord Shiva? Has it given you a new identity, and do you feel empowered and responsible while portraying the character?
A. I've been blessed with a new identity. Wherever I go, people address me as Shiv ji. Now, people look up to me with a lot of love and respect. This show has brought about many changes in all aspects of my life—my behaviour towards society and other human beings. Everything has transformed, enriching me with profound knowledge about wisdom, prosperity, and wealth.

5.To date, several actors have portrayed Lord Shiva on television screens, but the audience's response you received is impressive. So, what do you think the audience loved about you as Lord Shiva?
A. I must credit Siddharth Kumar for this. When we began, I believed that the character of Shiv should maintain a neutral expression—neither too happy nor too angry. However, Siddharth Kumar Tewary insisted that Shiv should display human-like emotions. This set us apart from other portrayals of Shiva on screen. Emotions became visible to the audience through expressions. If Shiv was angry, the audience could see it. This human touch proved to be immensely beneficial for us.
