Arpita Khan's Rs. 5 lakh worth of diamond jewelry was stolen, and her staff has been detained
After being robbed by her housekeeper, Arpita Khan Sharma, the sister of Salman Khan, reported the incident to the Mumbai Police. According to reports, a housekeeper, age 30, has been detained for allegedly stealing diamond jewelry from Arpita Khan's Mumbai home valued at Rs. 5 lakhs. The accused Sandip Hedge, a native of Vile Parle East's Ambewadi slums, used to assist Aripta with housework.
Sandip was allegedly accused of stealing Arpita's diamond stud earrings on May 16, which were purportedly stored in the cosmetics tray. When Arpita checked, she discovered they were gone. The culprit was taken into custody by senior inspector Mohan Mane and his colleagues from the Khar Police. Sandeep was detained by police for questioning and has been charged with violating Section 381 of the Indian Penal Code. The theft perpetrated by a servant or housekeeper is the subject of the aforementioned section.
According to reports, Sandeep spent the previous four months working at Arpita's home alongside 11 other employees. He fled the flat after completing the heist, but police caught him and found the earrings at Sandip's home. After Aripta complained about her missing diamond earrings, his home was investigated.
Sonam Kapoor's home was also looted by her housekeeper a few days ago. A nurse and her husband broke into Sonam and husband Anand Ahuja's Amrita Shergill Road home and stole jewelry worth more than Rs 1 crore, including 100 diamonds, six gold chains, diamond bangles, a diamond bracelet, two shirts, one brass coin, a Hyundai i10 vehicle, and cash.
