ICC changed the rules of the World Test Championship, the Australian team reached number 1, India rolled to number two.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken a decision on Thursday that has caused a big loss to Team India. At the same time, the ranking of the Australian team of number two has now become number 1.
In fact, the ICC has now made the winning percentage, not the points table, the basis of the ranking of the World Test Championship. Meaning that the team whose win percentage will be higher, that team will now be at the No.1 position.

Earlier, Team India was at number one with 360 points and Australia had 296 points. Following this ICC rule, the upcoming series between India and Australia will be more exciting.
Both these teams have to face two tough rivals in the World Test Championship. After facing Australia, India will play Test series from South Africa, and the Indian team will play Test series against England after Australia.
England is ranked third in the World Test Championship, scoring 60.83 percent of the points in the 4 Test series. New Zealand is at number four, its win percentage is 50 percent.
