ISRAEL VOWS TO WIPE IRAN’S LEADERS ‘OFF THE EARTH’

Tel Aviv/Gaza: Two weeks after the surprise Hamas attack, Israel’s military said its ground forces had mounted limited raids into the Gaza Strip on Sunday late night and said their air strikes were focusing on sites where Palestinian militants were assembling to attack any wider Israeli invasion.

Israeli warplanes are striking targets across Gaza ahead of an expected ground offensive in the besieged Hamasruled territory. Fears of a widening war have grown as Israel struck targets in the occupied West Bank, Syria and Lebanon and traded fire with Lebanon’s Hezbollah militant group.
