DM forms teams to keep eye on hosps in Lucknow
Lucknow: In a move that will both, strengthen and ease the Covid patient admission system in the city, Lucknow District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash has taken up measures to ensure that patients do not go through a harrowing experience, at least in the state capital.
District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash while chairing a meeting with officers of sector teams at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium in Collectorate on Friday, directed officials for following the instructions issued by him for treatment and control of Covid-19 cases.
He said that at district level also a monitoring team had been constituted, in which three-member include Additional District Magistrate (Administration), Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Protocol) and Chief Medical Officer.
The District Magistrate said that the district had been divided into 24 sectors with the aim of providing proper treatment to Covid 19 patients.
A three-member team of administrative officers, police officers and medical officers had been formed in each sector which would ensure direct admission of Covid patients in Covid Hospitals located in their respective sectors.
He instructed that information about availability of beds in different categories of ICU, HDU, Isolation etc. in Covid Hospitals should be made public between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
