WHAT! Shubman Gill is going to act in movies after voice-over artist in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse?

Indian cricketer Shubman Gill manages to remain in the headlines for his professional and personal reasons. He is an extremely young talented cricketer who plays for the IPL team Gujarat Titans. He is also linked to dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar. Alongside cementing an image in sports he is also delving into the entertainment sector. He has already stepped into it by lending his voice to the Indian version of Spiderman. Following that Gill has expressed his interest in building a new skill and that is no different but acting. 

Shubman Gill participated yesterday night for Gujarat Titans, who were competing against MS. Dohni's Chennai Super Kings in the IPL Finals. The batsman has disclosed his hobbies outside of playing cricket now that the season is finished and CSK has won the cup. Shubman Gill has stated his desire to work in the film business, and it appears as though he has begun to make inroads by lending his voice to Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. 

Shubman Gill mentioned acting as a talent he'd want to learn but added that he would first like to enrol in the right classes. The kid cricketer isn't sure yet if he will act in a movie, but having that talent is what truly fascinates or intrigues him. Gill clarified that by 'skills' he meant the ability to participate in acting lessons or workshops. He hopes to do it in his life at some point.

The purpose of Shubman Gill's dubbing endeavour, Marvel's Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, according to him, is to build expertise in the industry. He said that he considers the entire acting and filmmaking professions to be quite intriguing, which is the main reason he dubbed for the superhero film. He added, “It’s not easy to convince other people or portray someone you are not, so in that sense, I would want to have that skill of acting, but I don’t know if I would be to go in front of the camera and do it. I can’t say for sure on this one.”

We are not surprised by this information because it became clear when he voiced Spiderman that he would one day transition into acting. During the release of the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse teaser, Shubman Gill made a valiant appearance. When he attended the occasion alongside Pavitra Prabhakar, whose character he would be dubbing in the Hindi version of the movie, he looked sharp. On June 1, 2023, Spiderman Across The Spider-Verse is expected to hit theatres.
