Sonu Sood to adopt girl who hits ‘fours-sixes’

Barmer: Mumal Mehar, the village girl from Rajasthan’s Barmer district, who splashed on social media over the night with her batting skills, is again in news.

Film star Sonu Sood has announced to adopt the girl. Soon Barmer’s daughter will wear India’s jersey, actor Sonu Sood wrote on twitter.

Earlier, Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar could not stop himself in praising the little cricket star and shared her batting video on his social media handle.

“Kya baat hai.... Really enjoyed your batting...” Sachin Tendulkar wrote for the Barmer girl. A team of ‘Sonu Sood Foundation’ contacted Mumal and announced to facilitate her in all manners & informed the family members that they will bear the expenses of Mumal Mehar’s whole education and cricket coaching.

They also assured to ensure all sports facilities to the little star. Besides Mumal, the foundation also announced to adopt her elder sister Anisha, who used to train Mumal and also played for the Under 19 Rajasthan team.
