Mumbai team wins IRS Cricket Cup-24 for 4th time after 10 years

Goa: The Mumbai IRS team won the IRS Cricket Cup-24 for the fourth time after 10 years. Chief guest of the closing ceremony and Director General of Income Tax Investigation, Mumbai, Prabodh Seth, said that the match was thrilling.

“The cup may have been won by the Mumbai team, but the real victory is of the IRS officials. Like in the match, joint efforts should be made by the department for better results,” he said.

National president of All India IRS Association and Principal Director, of Income Tax Investigation Jaipur, organiser of the competition, Sudhanshu Shekhar Jha said that it is expected that more innovations will come in this competition in the coming times.

North East IRS team which stood as first runner-up got a trophy and all its players were awarded silver medals.
