Bhilwara Kings enters final by defeating Guj Giants by 6 wickets

Jodhpur: Bhilwara Kings defeated Gujarat Giants by six wickets. However, Kevin O’Brien, Yashpal Singh & Tillakaratne Dilshan managed to put Gujarat Giants in a strong position at an interesting match. Gujarat had lost two wickets for 21 runs at one time but after this Dilshan (37 runs, 26 balls, 5 fours, 1 six) hit Yashpal (43 runs, 35 balls, 5 fours, 1 six). six) with a partnership of 45 runs. Dilshan was dismissed for a total of 81 but Yashpal’s innings continued. It looked like Yashpal would complete a hat-trick of half-centuries against Bhilwara Kings but Sudeep Tyagi stopped his run.

Yashpal had earlier played an unbeaten innings of 57 against the Kings in Cuttack and then on Sept 30 here. After his dismissal, Kevin took responsibility of scoring runs and strengthened Gujarat by taking score beyond 150. However, Kevin had to return to the pavilion. Kevin hit 2 fours & 4 sixes in a stormy innings.
