YOUTH CAPABLE OF GIVING NEW DIRECTION TO SOCIETY: DHANKHAR

Jhunjhunu: Describing Swami Vivekananda as the golden representative of India’s youth potential and talent, Vice- President Jagdeep Dhankhar said on Saturday, that the country today is realising his dreams.

Dhankhar, while addressing a programme organised at the beginning of Vivekananda Sandesh Yatra in Khetri (Jhunjhunu), said that only youth have the ability to give new direction to the society. He said that Vivekananda’s message is always relevant for society.

Recalling Swami Vivekananda’s speech at Chicago, the VicePresident said that he introduced India’s spirituality to the world. He expressed happiness that today India is realising the dreams of Swami Vivekananda and is moving on the path of continuous progress.

Earlier, the VicePresident launched the Vivekananda Sandesh Yatra from Khetri. This yatra, which will continue till January 7, is being organised by the Swami Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Rajasthan and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The Vice- President went to the Ramakrishna Mission in Khetri and paid floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda at his statue. He also visited the Vivekananda Gallery.

The State Energy Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati, the President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari AK Balakrishnan were also present on the occasion.
