Workshop organised to help SHGs avail benefits of PMFME Scheme

Raisinghnagar: A workshop was organised for the Self Help Groups (SHGs) in the Samagar of Krishi Upaj Mandi Committee, Raisinghnagar office to give information about the Prime Minister’s Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprise Scheme. Incharge of the team, Shravan Kumawat, who came from Rajasthan State Agricultural Marketing Board, Jaipur, gave detailed information about the scheme. Under the scheme, 35 per cent subsidy (maximum 10 lakh) by the Central Government and 10 per cent grant is being provided by the Government of Rajasthan. Kumawat said that the complete process of getting grant under the scheme is online and time bound, in which the benefit of grant will be available within two months of applying. “This scheme is based on term loans through banks. In this, the beneficiary can take a term loan up to 90 per cent of the total project cost,” he said.
