Woman’s body recovered from borewell after 120 hrs

Gangapur City: The rescue operation of Ramnagar Bairwa Dhani of Gram Panchayat Gudla of Bamanwas was completed after 120 hours on Monday afternoon. In a 95 feet deep pit with a diameter of 3 feet made right near the borewell, an approximately 4 feet long tunnel was found at a depth of more than 90 feet.

SDRF divisional incharge Narpat Singh said that the borewell rescue of Ramnagar proved to be the biggest and most challenging rescue operation in the state. Due to the presence of smooth and extremely hard soil at a depth of 90 feet, a lot of difficulties were faced in making the tunnel. At the last stage, water leakage in the tunnel became the biggest obstacle.
