Woman kills husband with cricket bat over suspicion of illicit affair

Jhunjhunu: A 35-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his wife in Jhunjhunu on Saturday afternoon over a suspicion of his illicit affair with another woman. Police informed the deceased has been identified as Bunty Valmiki, a resident of Ramgarh under the Kotwali Police Station area.

“The woman, Kavita, attacked his husband with a bat and beat him so brutally that he died on the spot. She had a suspicion that Bunty had an illicit affair with another woman. With the help of a dog squad, the woman was detained and questioned. During interrogation, she accepted the killing. The case is being investigated,” police said.
