Woman and man drown in two separate mishaps

Barmer: Two including a woman were killed in two separate drowning incidents in Barmer. Both cases took place when the persons were fetching water and got slipped into the water tank and drowned.

According to the information on Saturday, a 19-year-old woman died by drowning while fetching water from a water tank. The incident has been reported from the Baytu police station area in Balotra district. In another incident, a 62-yearold man died by drowning while fetching water from a water tank. An incident has been reported from Sanawara village under the Sadar police station area in Barmer.

In both cases, police registered the case and initiated an investigation.
