Sikar: Vice-President, Jagdeep Dhankhar, unveiled a statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar, commemorating the leader’s 108th birth anniversary. The event also inaugurated the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Samiti Udyan,’ honouring his legacy.
In his address, Dhankhar emphasised the contemporary relevance of Upadhyaya’s philosophy, stating, “I never imagined I would unveil this statue. This is a moment of great privilege.” He highlighted the need to embody Pandit Ji’s teachings, focusing on individual empowerment and the concept of Antyodaya to uplift the marginalised.
Dhankhar urged attendees to join the PM Modis ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam drive, fostering connection.
He emphasised India’s independence and encouraged youth to embrace new opportunities, stating, “Never fear failure; your opportunity basket is expanding.”
