We did works worth thousand crores without corruption: Gadkari

Hanumangarh: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 6 national highway projects and 7 bridges at railway crossing in a program at Shaheed Omprakash Jyani Stadium in village Pakkasarana on Sri Ganganagar road, about 15 km from Hanumangarh district headquarters on Monday. The projects would be constructed at a cost of more than Rs 2,050 crore.

Gadkari also laid the foundation stone of the new construction of Hanumangarh-Kanchian (NH 54) road, the most important project involved in these works, to be built at a cost of Rs 321 crore. Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone virtually by pressing the button.

Gadkari, who started his address by remembering Maharana Pratap on his birth anniversary, said that they want to make a self-reliant India under the leadership of PM Modi. Gadkari said that he has done works worth Rs 50 lakh crore so far and works worth thousands of crores have also been done in Rajasthan.

He said “If the fate of the farmer has to be changed, then he has to be made energy giver, which is now almost done. After the food giver, now the farmer will be the energy giver.
