We did not make budget announcements but implemented them also: CM Gehlot

Ajmer: Talking to reporters in Ajmer, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that no tax was imposed in the first five budgets. “We did not mere make budget announcements but implemented them as well.

We gave the people what they asked for. The announcements are so many that every section will get benefited. The atmosphere of Rahul Gandhi’s visit was spectacular everywhere and the countdown has begun for the BJP in the country. The situation of the country is critical and it has to be understood. If not taken care of, the situation will get worse. PM Narendra Modi speaks well, it is a good thing. But democracy is in danger. ED and CBI are being misused. Ten lakh families have left the country. The last weapon of BJP is polarisation,” Gehlot said.

On the allegation made by PM Modi on the Congress regarding Rajasthan bomb blast, Gehlot said that if the PM speaks like this, then you can understand in which direction the politics is going. “Serial blasts took place during the tenure of his government. The investigation took place during his rule only. The death penalty was given in our regime. They were arrested and released by the HC due to technical reasons, then they will go to the SC. If the PM speaks in such sensitive matters, then a good message will not be given. On the contrary, people will get confused,” he said. Gehlot, who reached Ajmer, met the beneficiaries during Mehangai Rahat camp at Vijay Laxmi Park. He apologised for coming late & thanked people for their zeal. He inaugurated elevated road worth Rs 252 cr built under Smart City Project. With this elevated road, thousands of people will be able to get rid of the daily traffic problem.
