Victims of molestation, 2 girls die by suicide

Pratapgarh: Two tribal girls studying in Class 12th in Peepalkhunt in Pratapgarh died by suicide after repeatedly being molested by 3-4 youth studying in their school who have been now detained by police. They also asked the girls to have illicit relations with them.

The cousins were from the Dungla Vani area of Ghantali police station area. They had registered a complaint on October 5 at the police station regarding the boys. When they were returning home, the accused molested the girls and beat them up. Both the girls told this to their family members. Next day, both were lying semiconscious & were rushed to hospital, where the doctors declared them dead.
