VALUE OF AYURVEDA INCREASED ACROSS WORLD: GUV MISHRA
Jodhpur: The sixth convocation ceremony of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur, under the chairmanship of Governor and Chancellor Kalraj Mishra, took place on Friday in the newly constructed Sushrut Auditorium of the University. Degrees were awarded to 942 students while 6 students were honoured with gold medals. Mishra inaugurated the convocation ceremony by lighting the lamp. AYUSH Minister Dr. Subhash Garg and former ViceChancellor of the University Prof. Banwarilal Gaur were the special guests of the function.
Mishra also inaugurated the newly constructed Sushrut Auditorium and read the preamble and basic duties of the Constitution. He honored 6 AYUSH graduate and postgraduate students with the ‘Chancellor’s Gold Medal’ and the toppers of Ayurveda faculty with a gold medal awarded by Dabur India Limited, besides giving certificates to 12 AYUSH graduate and postgraduate students of the second and third rank.
