Universities need to focus on skill development: Guv Mishra

Bharatpur: Underlining the importance of education in the social and economic development of the country, Governor Kalraj Mishra on Wednesday called for paying more attention to the skill development of the students in universities.

He said that the university should create such courses and implement them effectively so that the students can be motivated to continuously learn new things and make themselves self-reliant from a professional point of view.

He was addressing the third convocation of the Maharaja Surajmal Brij University of Bharatpur. Referring to the new education policy made on the basic concepts of easy access, quality, and accountability for all, he emphasized its effective implementation.
