Uninterrupted Power: Nagar orders blacklisting of delaying contractors

Bharatpur: Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar, during his Bharatpur tour on Sunday, held a meeting with the officials of the electricity department and said that the production, transmission and distribution system will be strengthened to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

On the delay in the work of approved grid sub-stations, he directed officials to blacklist the contractors who do not complete work on time.

Nagar directed officers to propose new feeders and get the work of all the approved GSS completed. He said that electricity is a basic necessity and officers should communicate with public representatives and citizens. “If any officer does not pick up the phone, it will invite action. Teams must inspect the quality of poles,” he said.
