Udaipur: Gogunda police of Udaipur district arrested the former woman sarpanch, who was absconding, in a case of fraud and presented her in the court. She was sent to judicial custody.

Police said that Doli Bai held the post of Sarpanch from 2010 to 2015. During this period, the Sarpanch in connivance with AEN Chandresh Aggarwal, JEN Suhash Manohar, Secretary Harimohan Saxena and Secretary Rooplal embezzled more than Rs 10 lakh without doing the construction work of government works, including CC road construction, cleanliness campaign works and purchase of hand pump tools by making fake bills.
