Two minor sisters burnt alive after hut catches fire in Jalore

Jalore: Girls aged six years and nine months were burnt alive due to a fire in a hut in the Raniwada tehsil area. The parents were working on the farm and after seeing the fire, they immediately ran towards the hut and tried to extinguish it, but in vain as both, the girls could not be saved.

As per the report, Ramesh Bhil and his wife Parvati were working on the farm of Ramaram Kevdaji Chowdhary in Vagtapura village of Rampura gram panchayat.

Meanwhile, his daughters Bhanu (6 years) and Basanti (9 months) were sleeping in a hut built near the well in the field. A sudden fire broke out in the hut on Saturday morning. The parents working at a distance of 50-60 feet saw flames rising from the hut. They rushed to the spot and screamed for help. Both the girls sleeping in the hut were burnt alive.

Ramesh also has two sons. The elder son Praveen Kumar (8) had gone to Tawidar village to visit relatives, while the younger son Vinesh Kumar (4) was in the farm with his parents.
