Two groups clash over govt land in Jodhpur

Jodhpur: Tension gripped in Jodhpur after two groups clashed with each other over a govt land on Thursday night. Police informed that the clash broke out as one of the groups claimed the land by putting boards of the Ma Amrita Devi Garden while the other group claimed it as pasture land. “On Thursday night, someone removed saplings and tree guards leading to tension in the area. On Friday morning, both groups exchanged heated arguments. Later, it was decided by the JDA that the uprooted saplings and tree guards should be put back in place,” police said.
