Two-day Bhagwat Katha starts at Mehandipur Balaji

Dausa: The Shrimad Bhagwat Katha started at Mehandipur Balaji in Dausa beginning Sunday. Locals and devotees visiting the place are enthusiastic about the two-day event. Ahead of the Kalash Yatra, people started arriving at the Ganesh temple on the bypass from 6 am.

The Kalash Yatra reached the Katha Sthal at 12 o’clock. Aarti was collectively performed by Mahant Nareshpuri Maharaj along with religious leaders, including Bhagwat Katha Acharya Mridul Krishna Maharaj. A grand tableau was also taken out during the Kalash Yatra. Krishna Nitish Bhardwaj of the Mahabharata serial participated in the Kalash Yatra. Seven elephants, 11 mares, eight buggies and three vintage cars took part in the Kalash Yatra.Thousands of devotees, including local people participated.
