Pratapgarh: After First India reported that a tribal woman was paraded naked in a market in Pratapgarh, police swung into action. SP Amit Kumar left for Pahada village and said that the accused will be arrested soon.

The married woman had eloped a year ago. People from her in-laws’ side were furious at this. The woman was paraded naked and hit in a crowded market on Thursday. The video and photos are viral on social media.

The state govt has taken the Pratapgarh incident very seriously and on the instructions of DGP Umesh Mishra, ADG Crime Dinesh MN left for Pratapgarh on Friday. DGP has given instructions to arrest the accused immediately. Mishra said that all the 8 identified accused involved in incident will be arrested soon.
