Tigers missing: Is administration turning a blind eye?

Sawai Madhopur: In Ranthambore there seems to be emphasis on tourism while the tigers are going missing one after the other.

Many tigers are missing as monitoring capabilities of the Ranthambore Tiger reserve seems to have failed. There is no trace of T-79, while at the same time, female cub of T-99 is also missing. The cub was wandering from Talai to Mala in Zone 10 but has not been seen for many days.

There is big question whether the Ranthambore administration will make the status of tigers public or will the tigers keep disappearing one by one without any clue of their whereabouts? According to DCF Mohit Gupta, 74 tigers in Ranthambore are all seen in camera traps. But there is no reply about the status of Tiger T-79 and female cub of T-99.
