Three killed as container truck rams into trailer

Dungarpur: Three persons were killed in Dungarpur’s Bhichiwada area on Sunday when a container truck rammed into a trailer following tyre burst of the trailer.

Police said that the incident occurred near Shishod village on Udaipur-Ahmedabad NH48 when the trailer was heading towards Udaipur. “Of the three deceased, one has been identified as Ajaypal, a resident of Hardoi, UP, while the other two are yet to be identified. The bodies shifted to the mortuary of the district hospital in Dungarpur,” police said. “The mortal remains will be handed over to family members after the post-mortem,” added police.
