Threat call to Meghwal: Police gear up for red corner notice

Bikaner: Bikaner Police is trying to unearth and tighten the screws on the Malaysia connection of threatening Cabinet Minister Govind Singh Meghwal. This game of intimidation from the foreign land has been going on for a long time. People from gangs like Goldy Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi are the main characters of this game. It is also known that some bookies and businessmen were keeping silent even after giving lakhs on such phone calls. After the extortion of 70 lakhs demanded from Cabinet Minister Govind Meghwal, the police are engaged in interrogation by taking 24 people into custody.

The minister apprised the CM Gehlot about the incident from the badabandi itself. Later, on the instructions of the CM, the Bikaner Range Police arrested 24 people in just 24 hours and started connecting the links of threats related to the phone call leading to some shocking revelations.

IG Omprakash says that the effort of the police is to expose this nefarious nexus. For the same, the process of issuing red corner notices is being completed. Meanwhile, the help of cyber experts is also being taken. Sunil Bishnoi was threatening minister from Malaysia.
