There’s no dearth of sports talent in Raj: CM

Bharatpur: On Thursday, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reached Pala village of Kumher in Bharatpur wherein, he participated in the concluding ceremonyof the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic Block Level Games. In the programme, the Chief Minister said that there is no dearth of sports talent in India. CM said that Kanhaiyalal was murdered in Udaipur. "Such violence will not be tolerated. If a person of any religion, caste or party is involved in such violence, then they will not be spared."

On the issue blackmarketing of urea fertilizer in Rajasthan, he said that the District SP and Collector should take it seriously. "The Centre will have to bow down. I will talk to the Haryana government for water from Govardhan Canal so that the people of the district can get water," Gehlot said, and targeting PM Modi, further added, "The whole country had united for Tali and Thali on his appeal. Now the PM should appeal to the countrymen for peace." Minister Ramesh Meena said that lumpy disease should be declared as a national calamity. PCC Chief GS Dotasra said, "All the medicines related to this disease were taken by the Centre to Gujarat. Congress govt in Raj ensured management of medicines during the Corona period and even PM Modi said that all states should work on a pattern like Rajasthan. The upcoming budget of the Congress govt will be for the youth," he said. Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Minister Vishvendra Singh demanded from CM Gehlot to start the Pala airstrip so that Bharatpur district can connect with the state and the country. On this, Chief Minister Gehlot quipped, "I will get the airstrip started but being the Civil Aviation Minister, you (Vishvendra Singh) will have to buy the airplane."
