Thai woman shot; Police detains three
Udaipur: A foreign female tourist was publicly shot on Saturday morning in Udaipur city. She was hit below her left rib. Three boys dropped her off at a private hospital and fled. Considering the case suspicious, the injured woman was referred to Maharana Bhupal (MB) Hospital. She is undergoing treatment.
SP Yogesh Goyal said that the woman’s name is Thai Them Chuk (24), from Thailand. She was intoxicated and did not cooperate during questioning. She had been staying with a friend for four days at Hotel Veer Palace in Udaipole. Her mobile phone is also being checked, as it may provide clues. Three men left her at the private hospital. Police have detained three youths in connection with the shooting of a Thai woman. The incident occurred in a hotel at Chitrakoot Nagar, where the woman had arrived by cab. Rahul Gurjar, Dhruv, Akshay, and other associates were present in the hotel room.
