Baran: Tension gripped the Baran city on Thursday after the traders community and BJP workers observed bandh to protest against the assault by youths on two traders on Wednesday night.

Traders and BJP workers were protesting against the increasing criminal incidents in Baran on Thursday. During the bandh call, they stage dharna on the road. During the protest, some agitating people tried to enter a market, but police tried to stop them, but they did not relent and started removing the barricades.

On this, the police and the crowd cameface-to face and the police lathi-charged them to control the situation. The situation became tense after the lathicharge and extra force was deployed.
