Tension erupts in Nimbahera over social media post

Chittorgarh: Communal tension broke out in Chittorgarh’s Nimbahera area on Saturday night over a social media post.

Some of the miscreants tried to sabotage the house of a youth who had posted comments on social media, and damaged the car of a police constable and a police bike. Two separate cases have been lodged with Kotwali police station in connection to the case.

Deputy SP Ashish Kumar said that the miscreants damaged the doors and windows of a house at Javad darwaja over a social media post. Police rushed to the spot and caught two accused. When the police were taking them to police station, some other miscreants damaged the police bike. They reached the police station and damaged the car of a police station. SP said that the situation in is under control.
