Temples are centres of faith that promote Indian culture, says CM

Barmer: The CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Wednesday that temples are centers of faith that promote Indian culture and civilization and cultural values are created through temples. He said that the state govt is making huge efforts for the conservation and revival of cultural heritage related to temples in the state. “In this year’s budget (Vote on Account), a provision of Rs 300 crore has been made for beautification of various temples,” He was addressing Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav of Alamji Temple located at the Gudhamalani in Barmer on Wednesday.

He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India’s culture and civilization has got a distinct identity. He said that animal husbandry and farming are backbone of Barmer. “Alam ji Maharaj has special blessings on both of them. When the crop is harvested, the farmers first take out Mana in the name of Alam Ji Maharaj,” he said.
