‘TARANG SHAKTI-II’
Jodhpur: The Indian Air Force is conducting its largest air exercise, Tarang-Shakti, in Jodhpur, with participation from air forces of eight countries, including India. The exercise features both air-to-air and air-to-ground drills.
In a significant display, the USA’s A-10 aircraft flew alongside India’s Sukhoi 30 MKI, while the Tejas fighter jet engaged in exercises with the Australian Air Force’s EA-18.
The exercise, which began on August 30 and will continue until September 14, includes a special Open Day on September 7 for public viewing. A highlight of the event was the first-time creation of a tricolor in the Jodhpur skies by the Surya Kiran aerobatic team’s 9 Hawks.
In a notable upcoming event, the U.S. Air Force Chief is scheduled to fly India’s Tejas aircraft, further emphasizing the growing military collaboration between the participating nations.
