Student drowns in school, family blames authorities
Barmer: A 14-year-old boy, a student of class 7th, died by drowning in the school water tank in Rajasthan’s Barmer district. The incident took place on Monday under Rural police station area in Barmer, police said. Family members of the deceased have school authorities for the incident. They alleged that the teacher had asked their kin to fetch the water from the tank, during which he fell into the tank and died.
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter. Police identified the deceased as Vikram. Police said that on Monday Kumar went to school and around 11 am he fell into the school water tank and after an hour of rescue operation, the boy was pulled out from the tank. He was taken to a hospital but was declared dead.
