Strictly implement lock down: HC

Jaipur: Rajasthan HC has taken suo motto cognizance of letter by advocate Shahban Naqvi and has given instructions to both central and state govt on the dreaded Covid-19 epidemic. HC has asked the govt to strictly implement the lock-down orders. Rajasthan was first state in the country to order a complete lock-down but the HC expressed its unhappiness on the people’s lax attitude towards the lock-down orders. The double bench of CJ Indrajeet Mohanty and Justice Satish Kumar Sharma praised the steps taken by the state and central govt to contain the spread of the virus infection but also expressed dissatisfaction on the Implementation of the lock-down orders on the ground and ordered it to implement it strictly. HC has instructed the govt on 7 points. HC ordered preparation of a daily report by all departments on steps taken by them. It asked the govt to develop a multi tier mechanism to ensure zero leakage at the micro level. Comman man should have easy access to masks and sanitisers and nobody should be on govt duty without a mask.
