Sr Cong leader Bharat Singh won’t contest assembly polls

Kota: Senior Congress MLA Bharat Singh from Sangod, Kota, on Tuesday wrote a letter declaring that he would not contest the next assembly elections.

Singh, a three-time MLA, spoke to the media about his decision and said that the youths must participate in politics. Singh, known for being outspoken, said that unless the old are gone, how will the new ones come?

Singh said that he is over 73 years and is content with his work but has one regret that he has not been able to provide employment to youths in Chambal Fertilizer Chemical Ltd.
