Speeding container kills 4 sitting on divider

Abu Road: A speeding container crushed four people, including two women of the same family sitting on the divider under Abu Road police station area of Sirohi district on Wednesday morning. A child and a woman were seriously injured in the accident.

On information, the police reached the spot and got the injured admitted to the government hospital. Along with this, the investigation has started by getting the dead bodies kept in the mortuary of the state hospital.

According police, a family of Nana of Pali district was going home in the morning by car. Meanwhile, the car in which they travelling broke down after colliding with a vehicle near Kiverli. After which they parked the vehicle on the road and sat on the divider. During this, a container coming at a high speed first hit the car and then crushed them sitting on the divider killing four. The police have seized the container.
