Society must work to develop women leadership, says Prez

Dungarpur: President Droupadi Murmu said entire society has to make efforts to give impetus to women’s economic development and work on idea of development of women leadership. She said today half the population in country is women. “Out of 140 crore people in India, 70 crore are women. If they will sit at home, then how will the country and society run? To run country, cooperation of both men and women is necessary,” Murmu said while addressing tribal women associated with self-help groups at the Beneshwar Dham on Wednesday.
